PURPOSE:To improve reliability against the occurance of failures on electric car line sides by providing one set of what combines breakers with diode bridge circuits, to respective electric car lines which are divided by double sections for forming double lines whereby providing disconnecting switches to respective sets. CONSTITUTION:Three sets of diode bridge circuits 21, 41, and 61 which are composed of respective four diodes 22a through 22d, 42a through 42d, and 62a through 62d, are provided. And thyristor breakers 23, 43, and 63 are connected between the commonly connected anode side of respective circuits 21, 41, and 61 and the cathode side connected with a powering bus 7. And anode sides of respective circuits 21, 41, and 61 which are commonly connected, are connected with each other by way of NO.1 through NO.3 direct current disconnecting switches 81 through 83 which are closed when any of breakers 23, 43, and 63 fails. And respective common contacts 26, 66, 27, 67, 46, and 47 of diodes 22a and 22b, 62a and 62b, 22c and 22d, 62c and 62d, 42a and 42b, and 42c and 42d are connected with NO.1 through NO.6 electric car lines 9a through 9f respectively.
