PURPOSE:To enhance the anti-slipping effect, durability and drive ability of a tire, by vulcanizing and molding a rubber blend in which short filaments having specific diameter and length are mixed, dispersed and oriented, into a net-like rubber band as an anti-slipping means. CONSTITUTION:An anti-slipping fitting 1 is formed such that a rubber blend in which 2.2 to 20.0 weight parts of short filaments having a diameter of 0.8 to 15.0 deniers and a length of 1.0 to 10.0mm, with respect to 100 weight parts of rubber, are mixed and dispersed is vulcanized and molded into a net-like rubber band. The short filaments, each having an outer surface which is pretreated with resolsinol formalin latex, are usually used. However, if short filaments, each having an outer surface which is untreated are used, resolsinol group resin, methylene donors and pulverized moisture content silicon oxide are added in the rubber blend. The thus obtained net-like rubber band is manufactured such that the rubber blend is rolled by calendar rolls or the like, and is then cut by a net-like shape punch-out cutter.
