PURPOSE:To be useful for the improvement of the accuracy of reasoning and to structure a knowledge base for reasoning with a high useful degree by providing the counting means of the number of the link to come out from a node, a useful degree deciding means of the link and a control means. CONSTITUTION:A data supplying means 1 for reasoning links the division between necessary nodes 2 and 3 with a link 4, expresses the data for reasoning and the data for reasoning are supplied to a reasoning processing. In such a case, at the time of updating a link, the number of the link to come out from the renewing object node of the link is counted by a counting means 6 and the useful degree of the links is decided by a deciding means 7. As such a result, when the counting value by the counting object node exceeds the value determined beforehand, a control means 8 refers to the decided useful degree and controls a link generating means 5. The link of the means 1 determined by the useful degree of the link is deleted from the link to come out from the counting object node and the link to be newly provided is applied. Thus, the knowledge base for reasoning can be structured which is useful for the improvement of the accuracy of the reasoning and has a high useful degree.
