Circuit arrangement for generating the extra high tension for television display tubes

It is known to obtain the extra high tension for television display tubes by means of an extra high tension rectifier cascade (KS) which is connected to a resonant transformer (TR) which is tuned to the line frequency. Since it is difficult to manufacture transformers for high line frequencies with the desired resonant frequency in series production, it is proposed to select the resonant frequency of the transformer (TR) to be higher than the line frequency and to set the desired resonant frequency by adding coils (L2) or capacitors (C2) increasing the inductances or, respectively, capacitances of the transformer. The main field of application of the invention relates to high-resolution television display devices. <IMAGE>
