PURPOSE:To stabilize the operation of a blast furnace by attaching 3 units of hot stoves to one unit of the blast furnace and executing the stage for regeneration of heat by a high- temp. high-pressure combustion gas and scavenging of the residual combustion gas and supplying hot air to the blast furnace by blowing of high-pressure air at each same time. CONSTITUTION:The high-temp. combustion gas is blown into the hot stove for the blast furnace under a high pressure of 4-5kg/cm<2> and the heat regeneration stage of the hot stove is finished in about half the time of the case in which the hot air is blown under a low pressure at the time of feeding the high-temp. combustion gas to the hot stove and heating the refractory bricks in a checker work to regenerate the heat. The air is then supplied to the blast furnace under 4-5kg/cm<2> pressure for approximately the same time as for blowing of 1,000-1,300 deg.C hot air. Three units of the hot stoves are provided to one unit of the blast furnace in this case and the stages for heating and regenerating of the hot stoves by the high-pressure high-temp. combustion gas, the scavenging of the residual combustion gas in the hot stoves by a small volume of air and successively supplying the hot air from the hot stoves to the blast furnace are executed by each same time at intervals, by which the entry of the remaining gas of the high-temp. gas for heating and regenerating from the hot stoves into the blast furnace and the consequent disturbance of the reaction in the blast furnace are prevented.
