PURPOSE:To stabilize a magnetic head slider within a low quantity of floating, by providing a pressurizing pivot directly on a regulated pressurizing center position on the back plane of the magnetic head slider. CONSTITUTION:To the tip of a load arm 2, a gimbal 21 whose slider arranging area plane is bent in the shape of an L-for toward a downward direction, is provided. Also, the slider arranging area plane of the gimbal 21 is constituted so that, at a regulated floating force center position B on the back plane joining with an area plane, a pressurizing pivot 23, and a magnetic head slider 22 whose center is arranged integrally so as to coincide with the pivot 23, are arranged and supported in a state that the pressurizing pivot 23 is protruded beyond the slider arranging area plane of the gimbal 21, and is abutted with the load arm 2. In a supporting mechanism constituted in such way, a position dislocation between a pressurizing force center A (the center of a pivot) which pressurizes the magnetic head slider 22 from the load arm 2 side, and the regulated floating force center position B of the magnetic head slider 22, is generated only by a processing error at the time of the arrangement of the pivot 23 on the back plane of the slider, therefore, it is reduced remarkably.
