PURPOSE:To obtain a floppy disk driving device which can be easily switched and connected to a different kind of external control part (host computer), by providing plural kinds of signal line connection circuits within an interface circuit, and using selectively those signal line connection circuits when needed. CONSTITUTION:Each external terminal 14a to which the connector 11a of a signal cable 10a is connected, is connected to a bus transceiver 15a as a signal connection circuit through each signal line, and each internal terminal 17a through a line driver 16a. Also, another transceiver 15b is connected in parallel to the transceiver 15a. The bus transceiver 15a as the signal connection circuit is a kind of signal rearranging circuit, and the arrangement of the signal line is recombined so that the arrangement of respective signal in the connector 11a of the signal cable 10a in a host computer 6a is set in the signal arrangement designated by a floppy disk driving device in the internal terminal 17a.
