PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material good in resistances to light and formalin and high in color development performance by incorporating a magenta coupler substituted by a specified group at a specified position in at least one of emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one of silver halide emulsion layers contains the 1H- pyrazolo[3,2-c]-s-triazole type magenta coupler substituted at the 6-position by the group represented by the formula shown on the right in which R<1> is H, alkyl, or aryl, and Y is an alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, heterocyclic, or amino group. Said magenta coupler is added, preferably, in an amount of 1.5X10<-3>-7.5X10<-1>mol per mol of silver halide. |
