PURPOSE:To form a signal processor just with a single microcomputer and also to reduce the CPU load with the analog signal processing, by driving a sampling means and a trigger means based on the timer value as well as the starting time points of both sampling means and trigger means stored in a memory means. CONSTITUTION:A control logic 50 gives a command to a multiplexer 51 to give the A/D conversion to the signal received from a specific channel to decide the time width of A/D conversion and applies an interruption to a CPU when the conversion is through. A zero cross detecting circuit 54 produces the zero cross pulse by the zero cross input to start A/D conversion and then starts a prescribed counter/timer of a timer/counter array 55. A CCN 57 connected to the array 55 serves as a control register which allows or inhibits the working of the timer/counter. While a CTR 56 serves as a buffer register which is used when a CPU loads data to a timer register or leads out the contents of the timer register.
