<p>PURPOSE:To operate the device itself even when a part of peripheral function is at fault for operation by providing an individual reset line for peripheral initial setting between a microprocessor section and peripheral function section. CONSTITUTION:The device is being operated under the constitution consisting of a microprocessor section 11, a peripheral function section A 12 and a peripheral function section B 13. When operation of the peripheral function section A 12 goes to defective in such a state, the microprocessor section 11 sends out a reset signal to the peripheral function section A 12 through a reset line 14 for the peripheral function section A. On receiving the reset signal, the peripheral function section A 12 starts initial setting operation. During the while, the device can make operation that does not require the peripheral function section A 12.</p> |
