PURPOSE:To solve problems caused by oxygen supply obstruction during use in an electronic appliance by forming a tapered or step-like recess in the vicinity of an air hole installed in the bottom of a positive case, and making the inner bottom flat except for the air hole. CONSTITUTION:A recess 12 having a diameter 2-3 times wider than that of an air hole 9 and a depth of 0.03-0.05mm is formed in the same position as the air hole 9 of a positive case 3 with a press. For an R44 size cell, the inner diameter of the recess 12 is 1.0-1.5mm. The opposite side of the recess, or the inner bottom of the positive case 3 is required to make flat. This is easily formed by a usual press. An air hole 9 having a diameter of 0.4-0.6mm is installed in the center of the recess 12 of the positive case 3 with a press. A recess 11 is also formed in the inner bottom of the positive case 3, and it leads to the air hole 9. |
