PURPOSE:To uniformly and quickly spray a material over a wide range at one time by rotating a spreading plate which is formed in approximately the entire circumference of the outside peripheral edge to a spiral shape in the plane shape at a specified speed in a horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:The spreading plate 6 of a spreading device is so formed the plan shape over approximately the entire circumference of the outside peripheral edge has the center O on the axial line of a vessel, i.e., on the vertical line running the center of the surface to be spread and that the plane shape of the outside peripheral edge 21a has the spiral shape having the longest distance from the center O approximately equal to the radius of the surface to be spread and arriving at the center thereof after making approximately one turn. While such spreading plate 6 is rotted at the specified speed in the horizontal direction around the center thereof, the material is dropped and supplied at a constant rate onto the central part of the spreading plate 6. The material is thereby uniformly and quickly spread over a wide range t one time.
