<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a shock at an operation mode changing state, by a method wherein an automatic voltage regulating device and a voltage setting device of a manual voltage regulator follow each other. CONSTITUTION:At an automatic mode state, a changing device 13 and a signal changing device 20 are at a state shown in the figure, and a field current supply device 8 supplies field current regulated by an automatic voltage regulating device 3 to a field winding 2. During this time, the output of a voltage setting device 10 is regulated in incremental/decremental manner by an automatic following device 7, and a manual voltage regulating device 9 is at following- ready state. On the other hand, at a manual mode state, a switching-over device 13 and the signal switching-over device 20 are switched over, and a field current supply device 12 supplies field current regulated by the manual voltage regulating device 9 to the field winding 2. In this state, a voltage setting device 4 is regulated in incremental/decremented manner by the automatic following device 7, and the automatic voltage regulating device 3 is at following-ready state.</p> |
