PURPOSE:To provide the titled kneading elements that can provide an extruder capable of producing a parts of superior quality with a large extrusion capacity per unit time, by combining a screw with a specified shape and a cylinder with a specified shape. CONSTITUTION:A resin raw material is moved forward by the rotation of a screw 3, and part of the material is melted by the heat conducted through the wall. As the diameter of a section 1a is made gradually larger toward its forward end, the material is forced by a flight 7 into a section 1b. In addition, the diameter of a section 1c is tapered, the material undergoes the influence of a flight 8 greatly, and the delivering action is gradually increased. At the section 1c, an unmelted portion of the material is stuck in a groove 16 in an inner surface 15, is then scraped by edges 25 of notches 9, and is divided finely to be liable to be deformed. Then the material is moved into a section 2, and when it is passed through the space between a cylinder inner surface 18 and the flight screw top edge 27, considerable shearing action is exerted on the resin material. The rotation of the screw at the space section 28 facilitates to draw the resin material into the space between the inner surface 18 and the flight 17, so that the resin is sheared effectively and is facilitated to be plasiticized in the early stage. |
