PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid jet recording head prevented from the breakage or liquid leak of a liquid emitting element generated in the connection part thereof, by arranging a seal member around the supply port of the liquid emitting element and offsetting the connection end of a liquid supply system toward the sealing member by the recovery force of an elastomer to connect the same to said seal member in a liquidtight manner. CONSTITUTION:A holder 31 is fixed to a base plate 8 by a fixing screw 32 and a joint member 34 is formed into a tubular form from an elastomer such as rubber. A leaf spring 35 is deformed to bring the holder 31 into engagement with a spring engaging part 31A, and a filter 11 and a sealing elastic member 23 are arranged in offset manner to the peripheral part of the introducing port 5 of a liquid emitting element 1 by the spring force of said spring 35 through a connection member 33. Further, the holder 31 has a mount part 31B mounted to the front surface thereof so as to be capable of mounting a cap 36 and the nozzle part of a head is connected to a recovery pump by the mounting of the cap 36 to enable the recovery operation of the emitting element 1 and the prevention of a liquid from solidifying and adhesion. By covering the electric connection area of the element 1 with the cover lid part 31C of the holder 31, the wire bonding formed to said area is protected. |
