PURPOSE:To provide a plate type heat exchanger having a high allowable pressure difference by securing reinforced ribs at an opening for the inflow of a heat exchange medium and an opening for the outflow thereof. CONSTITUTION:A plate type heat exchanger 20 is constituted such that a plurality of heat transfer plates 10a and 10b are laminated, and flowpaths 11a and 11b of two kinds of heat exchange media are alternately formed therebetween, the peripheral edge part 12 of a heat transfer plate is bent in an L-shape to form a joined surface for brazing. Further, on the surface of adjacent heat transfer plates 10a and 10b, pressure support points 15a and 16a of heat exchange media in a notch shape intersecting and abutting each other are formed. Between eternal joined positions 17a and 17b arranged in a state opposite to the opening for the inflow of the heat exchange medium and an opening for the outflow thereof, circular reinforcing ribs 18, 18... having a honeycomb structure are brazed. Thus, the allowable value of the pressure difference between adjacent flowpaths is greatly improved. |
