In order to measure gases and plastic exudates which damage contacts, a receptacle (1) is provided which can be closed in a sealed manner and on whose outside two mutually opposite magnet coils are mounted in a tower (turret) construction, whose air gaps can be adjusted, by means of adjusting screws, with respect to an armature (12) which can be switched over between them. The armature is supported as a rotary armature such that one of its ends extends through a sealed spring bellows (23) into the receptacle (1) and operates contacts there. The moving contacts are connected directly to the armature (12) as contact springs (24), while the opposite stationary contact elements (26) are held in the receptacle via a support (28). <IMAGE>
