Then a computing unit 102 computes a desired input side rotational speed Nin deg. for a stepless speed change gear in accordance with the desired horse power PS deg., and a control system 104 controls a flow control valve in a hydraulic circuit for the stepless speed change gear in accordance with the desired input side rotational speed Nin deg.. Further, a computing unit 108 computes a desired opening degree from a desired engine torque Te deg. and an actual torque Te which are obtained by a computing unit 106 in accordance with the above-mentioned data PS deg., an actual input side rotational speed Nin.
