PURPOSE:To make it possible to suppress variation in the room pressure caused by pulsating wind pressure outside of a room subjected to ventilation by operating automatically damper devices provided at air flow paths for air intake and for air exhaust by means of a blast pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:This ventilator is provided with a wind pressure sensor 23 which detects external wind pressures toward the outer wall W which has an air supply galley 1 and an air exhaust gallery 5. Further, to air flow path 24 for outdoor air intake and a air flows path 25 for air exhaust respectively damper devices 26 are provided which are for adjusting air flow path resistance to regulate air flow path by throttling. Furthermore, a system controller 12 incorporates a room pressure stabilizing control device 27 which automatically operates the damper device 26. With this arrangement, when the wind is high and the external wind pressure acting on the gallery faces significantly pulsates, the resistances of the air flow paths 24 and 25 connected to the galleries are made larger by controlling the amount of throttling, and this alleviates variations in the air supply pressure and air exhaust pressure which accompany the variation in the external wind pressure, and it is possible to suppress variation in the room pressure subjected to ventilation.
