PURPOSE:To simplify the procedure for change of the using frequency of words and to decrease the frequency changing mistakes, by providing a memory means for list of frequency changed words that stores the words whose using frequencies are changed and attaining the collective change of the using frequencies of a dictionary means by means of said memory means with a frequency changing command. CONSTITUTION:The lists of reading and description of the words whose frequencies to be changed that are inputted by an input means for grammar information changing word list are stored in a memory means for frequency changing word list. If an instruction is given from a collective word frequency change instructing means for collective word frequency change, the frequencies of those words written in a frequency changing word list in a dictionary are changed collectively by a collective word frequency change means. As a result, the frequencies of words in the dictionary can be set freely and at a time and also the frequencies of many words can be changed at a time owing to a list style. Thereby, the procedure for change of frequencies of many words is simplified and the mistakes caused in the change of word frequencies are reduced.
