PURPOSE:To facilitate the word deleting operation by providing a memory means for deleting word list, a collective word deleting means which deletes words successively out of a dictionary means, etc. CONSTITUTION:The lists of reading and descriptions of those words inputted by an input means for list of deleting words and to be deleted are stored in a memory means for deleting word list. If an instruction is given from a collective word deletion instructing means for collective word deletion, the words written in a deleting word list are deleted collectively out of a dictionary by a collective word deleting means. Thus plural words can be collectively deleted out of the dictionary and therefore the load of an operator is reduced for deletion of many words. Thereby, the word deleting mistakes and decreased and furthermore facilitates confirmation of deleted words.
