PURPOSE:To equalize the levels of pile heads with high accuracy by a method in which cylindrical casings having a plurality of poles on their upper ends and holes in their downsides are landed on the bottom under water and a cutting position in the head of a pile penetrated into the casing through the hole is worked out with the poles and a measurer on the land side and cut off. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of measuring piles are erectly provided to the upper end opening edge of a cylindrical steel casing 1, and a hole 3 with packing for preventing the leakage of water is provided in the center of the bottom of the casing 1. The casing 1 is carried to sea area above a pile 6 penetrated into the seabed ground 5 for suspension under water and landed on the ground 5, and the head of the pile 6 is penetrated through the hole 3 into the casing 1. A cutting position for the head of the pile 6 is worked out with the poles and a level, and the head of the pile 6 is cut off at the cutting position by worker in the inside of the casing 1.
