PURPOSE:To sterilize bacteria a removing ozone dissolved into water with gas containing no ozone after aerating water with ozonized air prepared by an ozonizer. CONSTITUTION:Raw water of water to drink in an aeration tank 13B is aerated with ozonized air to carry out oxidative destruction of an organic substance, chlorine and the like and also sterilize. Next, a closing valve 1B is closed and a closing valve 1A is opened to send ozonized air to a first aeration tank 13A to contact ozonized air with water, to sterilize bacteria and get sterilizing ozonized air. Said sterilizing ozonized air is guided to an ozone degradation instrument 14 to degrade and remove co-existing ozone and separate sterilized air without ozone. Said sterilized air is sent into a second aeration tank 13B and dissolved ozone remaining in ozone treated water to provide water to drink. By said process, safe and tasty water is provided.
