PURPOSE:To efficiently dispose an input and output device according to the scale of a system by providing an encoding means for encoding input information in the respective devices of an input system and a decoding means for decoding output information at every device in an output system and constituting the respective devices freely attachably and detachably with respect to a main body unit. CONSTITUTION:In the respective devices of the input system, namely a picture drawing input device 100, a still picture input device 200, an animation input device 300, a voice input device 400, the encoding means for encoding the input information is provided. In the respective devices of the output system, namely a plane display device 150, a graphic display device 160, a hard copy device 260, a graphic display device, a sound output device 450, the decoding means for decoding the output information is provided and encoding and decoding means are provided in the respective input and output devices themselves. Accordingly, a voice unit or a picture unit for encoding and decoding the entire system which is used conventionally is not used. Therefore, even in the system of a small scale, there is no loss but the input and output device can be disposed more efficiently according to the scale of the system.
