PURPOSE:To promote the compactness, by providing a means which changes the thrust direction of a thruster utilizing electromagnetic force to the thruster. CONSTITUTION:Working fluid, having a positive charge, is accelerated by accel erating voltage of an accelerating voltage source 3 applied between an accelerat ing positive electrode 1 and an accelerting negative electrode 2. A track 101 is drawn by the working fluid, and its deflecting amount is changed by adjusting deflecting voltage due to a deflecting voltage current 6 applied between a deflecting positive electrode 4 and a deflecting negative electrode 5. Accordingly, the thrust direction of a thruster can be freely controlled with no worsening of specific thrust further with a device formed small in size, light in weight and in high reliability.
