PURPOSE:To evaluate wear resistance performance almost in an actual use state by composing a testing device of a friction device which includes a friction tool, a friction tool holding member, and a driving member for moving the friction tool holding member reciprocally, and a holding device which includes a hand-shaped glove holding member. CONSTITUTION:A glove G to be inspected is mounted on the glove holding member 16 and its wrist part is fixed by being clamped with a beltlike metallic and 20; and the the glove is fixed on a base 2 by adjusting the angles of the glove holding member 16 and a glove holding fitting table 15 so that the root parts of the thumb part PF and index finger part FF of the glove G contacts the friction tool 8. Then a torque motor 9 is started and then horizontal reciprocal motion is transmitted to a horizontal rod 5; and the friction tool 8 begins to moves reciprocally similarly and rub against the surfaces of the parts of the glove G. The friction operation of this friction tool 8 is performed for a specific time and then the torque motor 9 is stopped. Thus, the wear resistance performance is evaluated by a method which observes the outward appearance and calculates the quantity of abrasion from the amount of ground rubber.
