The invention relates to a device for coupling an assembly tool, such as a gripper or the like, to the end of a robot arm and proposes, for a compact structural shape and assignment of the assembly tool appropriate for the work involved, a turret carrier (2) possessing an insertion opening (5) for the robot-arm end (1) and having a turret rotational axis (y-y) lying at an acute angle (angle alpha) to the insertion-opening axis (x-x) and coupled to an adjusting motor (10), and a turret-locking device (37), in such a way that in each case one of a number of assembly-tool fixtures (21) lies in a coaxial position with the insertion-opening axis (x-x). <IMAGE>
