PURPOSE:To eliminate a post-treatment after caulking of a microwave heating device and improve an outer appearance of the device by a method where in a cover made of resin to cover caulked connections is provided. CONSTITUTION:An extremity end 7a of a circumferential end part 7 of a front plate 3 (rear plate 4) is bent outwardly to hold an opening end 6 of a side plate 2, they are bent outwardly to caulk against the opening end 6 of the side plate 2 to combine the side plate 2 with the front plate 3 (rear plate 4) and to form a heating casing 1 of a microwave heating device. A groove 12 corresponding to a thickness of the caulked connection 8 is formed around the inner circumferential part of the main body 11a of a cover 11 made of synthetic resin material. An outer surface of the groove 12 is integrally projected with a claw 13 removably engaged with a stepped part 8a of the caulked connection 8 at the outer surface of the groove 12. The cover 11 is outwardly fitted to the caulked connection 8, with the result that a coating crack or form burrs formed at the caulked connections 8 can be blocked outwardly. Further, as compared with the case of post-treatment of the caulked connections, its workability, cost and outer appearance are superior.
