PURPOSE:To absorb a large torque variation, by transmitting motive power by meshing needle tip portions of planted needle members fixed to the shaft ends of a driving shaft and a driven shaft. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 1 and a driven shaft 2 have shaft ends provided with flanges 3, 4 or plate members fixed thereon, respectively. The flange 3, 4 or the plate members have confronting surfaces a, b provided with a planted needle members 7 fixed thereon which are formed by planting substantially U-shaped needles 5 on a substrate 6. Needle tip portions 8, 8 projecting from the surfaces of the substrates 6 of the planted needle members are meshed one another. Since motor power is transmitted through elastic needles, a large torque variation can be absorbed.
