PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-shrinkable film which has low-temperature heat shrinkability, can be shrunk at a relatively low temp. and is suitable for use in packaging goods which are easily denatured by heat, by blending a raw resin for the production of a heat-shrinkable film with a given a amount of a low-density ethylene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:90-50wt% ethylene polymer (A) having a density of 0.9 to 0.93g/cm<3> at 25 deg.C and a melt index of 2 to 3g/10min (e.g., high-density polyetylene) is mixed with 10-50wt% ethylene polymer (B) having a density of 0.87-0.91g/cm<3> at 25 deg.C and lower by at least 0.014g/cm<3> than the density of the component A and a melt index of 0.2-5g/10min (e.g., an ethylene/butene-1 copolymer), The mixture is melt-extruded and the resulting unoriented film is oriented at least monoaxially at least 200% at a temp. at which the film can be oriented, thus obtaining a heat-shrinkable polyetylene film having excellent low-temperature heat shrinkability. |
