PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate water content value by making a guide plate leave the peripheral surface of a feed roller before water content measurement is started. CONSTITUTION:A one-grain feeding-out device 5 consists of a feed roller 10, the guide plate 12 capable of contacting the roller 10 slantingly in its peripheral surface tangential direction, etc., and is pressed against the peripheral surface of the roller 10 by a spring 13 all the time, and a spiral groove 14 is formed in the peripheral surface of the roller 10. A grain is supplied into a water content measuring instrument throughout drying operation and when a water content measurement signal rises, a motor 17 is driven to rotate the roller 10 and then grains supplied at random are conveyed horizontally at the gaps part between the guide plate 12 and the outer peripheral surface of the roller 10 along the groove 14. Grains overflowing from the groove 14 fall from the fall-down space of the roller 10 and one grain which is left in the groove 14 is secured to reach a discharge side while grains coming out of the groove 14 at the discharge side is sent to between electrode rollers 6 through a supply flume 16. The grains between the rollers 6 are crushed because of the difference in peripheral speed and the water content value is found from the current resistance value.
