发明名称 MEMORY BACK-UP CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the unsuitable data from being transferred and held to the second backed-up memory circuit by turning off the flow of data between the first memory circuit and the second memory circuit based upon the detecting output of a runaway detecting circuit at the time of the runaway of a microprocessor. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1 outputs an addreses output, a data output and a write output to the first memory circuit 2 and writes the data into the first memory circuit 2. A runaway detecting circuit 3 decodes an alarm signal from the microprocessor 1, recognizes that the microprocessor 1 does not runaway and outputs the detecting output to a memory transferring control circuit 5. The data written in the first memory circuit 2 are transferred through a switch circuit 6 to the second memory circuit 4. A switch circuit 6 makes the detecting output from the runaway detecting circuit 3 into an input, and at the time of the runaway of the microprocessor, by turning off the data flow between the first memory circuit and the second memory circuit 6, it can be prevented that the unsuitable data are transferred and held to the second memory circuit 4.
