PURPOSE:To obtain a toner composition superior in low-temperature fixability and offset resistance and the like by using as a main component a styrene type copolymer containing a styrene type cooligomer having a number average molecular weight of <=1,000 in an amount of 0.01-1wt%. CONSTITUTION:The oligomer (A) of the styrene type copolymer to be added has a number average molecular weight of <=1,000, and if above 1,000, the fixability of the toner unfavorably deteriorates, and (A) is contained, preferably, in an amount of 0.01-1wt% of the styrene type copolymer (B), and if below the lower limit, the fixability unfavorably deteriorates, and if above the upper limit, the blocking resistance of the toner deteriorates, thus permitting the obtained toner composition to be enhanced in the blocking resistance and imaging characteristics without being accompanied by troubles, such as extension of time required for warming up, increase of electric capacity, deterioration of copying paper, and frequent maintenance. |
