PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicle from starting or a PTO from rotating at the start of an engine and reduce a load to a starter motor by connecting the always-open contact of a start limiting relay and the always-close contact of a PTO switch to a starter switch and said starter motor in series. CONSTITUTION:An always-open contact 140a closes a circuit in such a condition that a neutral switch 150 detects the neutral position of a main transmission 50, while a reverse switch 154 detects the advancing position of a clutch 52. On the other hand, a PTO always-close contact 138a opens a circuit when a PTO transmission system is connected. And, both of the contacts 140a and 138a are connected together to a starter switch 136 or a starter motor 128 in series. As a result, an engine can be started while preventing a vehicle from starting or a PTO shaft from rotating, and a load applied to the starter motor at the time of starting can be reduced. That is, the starter motor can be made ready to start under a condition that the vehicle is ready to travel or the PTO shaft is ready to be driven.
