PURPOSE:To simplify the production of a transmission device and to aim at commonly using components, by selecting differential metals for journalling both right and left end parts of differential gear casing, among those suited for the combination of the differential gear casing and a bevel casing. CONSTITUTION:A drive bevel gear rotates a bevel gear 1 integrally with a differential gear casing 3 having therein a differential gear mechanism 2 for driving right and left wheels 8, 9. Further, both right and left end parts 4, 5 of the differential gear casing 3 are rotatably journalled to differential metals 14, 15 fitted in and attached respectively to attaching seats 12, 13. Further, if the combination of the differential gear casing 3 and the bevel gear casing 7 relatively differs with respect to the standards, specifications and the like for the deferential gear casing 3 including the differential gear mechanism 2, the bevel gear 1 and the like, the differential metals 14, 15 or the parts 4, 5 are selected suitably for the combination. With this arrangement, it is possible to cope with differences in the specification and standard of a tractor or the like, thereby it is possible to simplify the production of the transmission device and to commonly use components.
