PURPOSE:To automate lighting-up inspection of a light emitting element by binarizing picture information on a light emitting element in terms of said inspection. CONSTITUTION:A lighting-up instruction part 2 transmits a lighting-up condition signal 3 to an object 1 to be inspected which causes the light emitting element to light up under said condition. The picture information 4 on the object 1 is inputted to a picture input part 5, transferred to a preprocessing part 6. After the noise of said information is removed and picture quality is improved, binarization information processing is executed, and a binarized information 7 is transferred to a discrimination operation part 8. It discriminates whether the light emitting element lights up in terms of binarization picture information with the aid of a light emitting element discrimination matrix picture in which the position of the light emitting element in an input picture is previously registered. Then the operation part 8 discriminates whether the element is accepted or not, comparing it with the lighting-up condition 3 of the lighting-up instruction part 2, and stores the result at every light emitting element. After all the light emitting elements are inspected, the operation part 8 transmits a decision signal 9 to a display part 10. Receiving the signal, the display part 10 displays the acceptance or reject of the light emitting elements. |
