A baton luminaire has a small diameter and is formed from individual tubular parts. Light sources are partially arranged in the tubular parts and are held in mounts. The light sources and the mounts are connected to a current source arranged outside the baton luminaire by means of electrical connections arranged in the tubular parts. Light exit openings are arranged on the surface of the tubular part in the region of each light source. The tubular parts are formed as square profile tubes. A light exit opening is arranged on at least one of the four flat longitudinal sides of the square profile tube in the region about a light source. The light source is a compact lamp arranged in the square profile tube. |
