1. Cylinder lock with a cylinder core (1) rotatable in a cylinder housing (3) and having a profiled longitudinal key channel to accommodate a key and transversely disposed guide channels (4) which are connected to the key channel, open on both sides of the peripheral surface of the cylinder core and accommodate spring loaded pin levers (5) which have a straight prismatic shape of regular cross-section and the length of which corresponds to the length of the guide channel in which they slide, the key having cut into it shapes of different heights in which, when the key is fully inserted into the key channel, a projection on the pin lever can rest, characterised in that each long side of the pin lever (5) has a projection (8) of longitudinal height (H) which differs from the height of another side, the guide channels (4) of the cylinder core (1) have a polygonal cross-section, only one projection (8) at every rotary position around its axis of the pin lever (5) connecting with the key incisions (10, 11), the guide channels (4) comprising a widening-out (4') for the projections on the pin levers (5) and the projections (8) being formed by an encircling over-thickness or collars (6) of larger diameter. |
