PURPOSE:To allow even an ordinary user to retrieve and edit data through the easy operation of a keyboard by providing a means retrieving and editing data according to the definition for data retrieval and edition from an input means and the definition for retrieving and editing stored data. CONSTITUTION:A data retrieval and edition processor 1 is configured with a control part 2 composed of a processor, etc., a storage device 3, the keyboard 4, a display device 5 and a printer 6. If a command for data retrieval and edition is inputted through the keyboard 4, each operational procedure for data retrieval and edition is displayed at every step. If the keyboard 4 is operated at every step to specify and input desired data, the desired data can be easily retrieved and edited. |
