INTERACTIVE INFORMATION RETRIEVING AND EDITING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To speed up retrieval processing and to improve the efficiency of software development by retrieving and correcting specific specification document information out of a work specification data base accumulating selected specification information. CONSTITUTION:With the aid of information related to a piece of information out of a master specification data base 9, a correction target specification document is selected, transferred to a work specification data base 18, corrected and returned to the master specification data base 9. Those steps are repeated. Thus the overall specification document information can be effectively modified by the quick retrieval processing with excellent operability. The work specification data base 9 and a correction mechanism for specification document information are loaded on a work station computer 5 different from a host computer 1, whereby the retrieval and correction of specifications can be improved.
