PURPOSE:To perform an automatic time adjustment by extracting a time casting signal from a signal received through radio by a time-casting recognizing circuit and converting it into a time adjustment signal, and operating a regular time adjusting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The time-casting recognizing circuit 7 consists of a band-pass filter 10 for extracting the time-casting signal from a radio input signal, a level detector 11, a timing detector 12 for detecting the signal interval of the time-casting signal, and a regular time signal detector 13. Further, the regular time adjusting circuit 8 consists of a time readout circuit 14, a fast/slow detector 15, an adjustment inhibiting circuit 16, and a regular time adjustment signal generator 17 which generates a regular time adjustment signal with the outputs of the circuit 7 and detector 15. Then the circuit 7 extracts the time casting signal from the radio-received signal and operates the regular time adjusting circuit 8 to make a regular time adjustment automatically. Further the time of the timer is compared with a regular time in response to the start of the operation of the detector 12 and when the time is, for example, >=5min fast or slow, the circuit 16 inhibits a regular time adjusting signal from being generated. |
