PURPOSE:To produce AMANATTO (sweetened ADZUKI beans) of good quality hardly drying without losing the flavor for a long period in a short time, by charging and processing beans for KANOKO (rice-cake with sweet-boiled beans mixed therein), heating the resultant beans as raw material beans at a specific temperature and uniformly smearing the heated beans with a specific amount of white sugar in a short time. CONSTITUTION:ADZUKI beans, peas, kidney beans, etc., boiled and dipped in a molasses solution to give charged and processed beans for KANOKO (rice cake with sweet-boiled beans mixed therein), which are used as raw material beans, heated over a slow fire until the temperature reaches 60-70 deg.C. 1kg resultant raw material beans are uniformly smeared with 7-10g white sugar in a short time to afford the aimed AMANATTO (sweetened ADZUKI beans). EFFECT:Even a small amount of AMANATTO can be readily produced.
