PURPOSE:To secure the operation of a clutch mechanism for take-up operation through simple structure by providing a sprocket switching shaft with a large- diameter square shaft part and a small-diameter part, and switching clutch gears which engage them by the movement of the switching shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a film is taken up, a shaft 12 rotates by being driven by the motor in a spool 1, the film is sent out by a sprocket 40 through a winding gear 35 through one turn of the gear 25 in the same direction and taken up by the spool 1, and when a shutter is released, a lever 27 and the gear 25 disengage from each other to hold next winding operation in readiness. When the film is rewound, a shaft 36 is pushed up and then a clutch gear 43 engaging the square shaft part 36a returns to the small-diameter part, so the shaft 36 becomes free from the gear 43 and sprocket 40; and the friction mechanism on the side of the spool 1 does not operate and the load in the rewinding is reduced to smooth the rewinding operation by the motor. Thus, the cost is reduced with the simple structure and the clutch mechanism for take-up operation is operated securely.
