PURPOSE:To provide a perfumery composition containing 5-methyl-2- phenylhexanal, having floral green fragrance with honey-like sweetness accompanying fruity smell, exhibiting strong diffusibility and perfume-retaining property and harmonizing with various perfumery raw materials. CONSTITUTION:A perfumery composition containing 1-20wt% 5-methyl-2- phenylhexanal. The perfumery composition has floral green fragrance with clean and transparent honey-like sweetness and is useful for modifying and promoting the aroma of other perfumery raw materials. It has various uses such as a room spray, a perfumery component of perfume, soap, lotion, hair- cosmetic, shampoo, detergent, etc., and an agent for imparting fragrance to a base such as fiber, paper-product, etc. |
