A mirror assembly such as a covered mirror panel (10) having a rectangular frame (11) to which a mirror (16) is mounted. The mirror has a flexible cover (30) and guide means in the form of two spaced apart rods (44, 45) mounted to the frame for guidably supporting the cover via channels (22, 24) between a position covering the mirror (Figure 1) and a position exposing the mirror for use. The cover when not in use can retract into a housing. The mirror assembly may form part of a visor (70, 80) for a vehicle and the cover may be stored in a housing within the visor when not covering the mirror. |
