SUBSTANCE: fuel element canning device of process line has changeable taper bushes coaxially mounted on external side of collet chuck; hardness of polished inner surfaces of bushes is higher than that of mating surface of collet chuck and inner cone angle is equal to mating angle of collet chuck; installed in inner spaces of chuck gripping mechanisms for the time of control and adjustment is device for controlling misalignment and adjusting both parts of welding chamber in the form of changeable can simulator with seating portion diameter equal to can diameter as well as plug simulator with its seating diameter equal to diameter of seating portion of plug, where parts of simulators being joined together are equal in diameter; they are polished both on end surfaces perpendicular to horizontal axis and on side surfaces and have sliding-fit mounted bushing with polished inner surface.
