AUTORADIOGRAPHIC MEASUREMENT METHOD

PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of measurement by receiving the accelerated luminous light released by irradiating excitation light to a radiation energy information separating and development array by a photodetecting means then irradiating erasing light to erase the radiation energy remaining on an accumulative phosphor sheet and reading the information by repeating such operation. CONSTITUTION:A material applied with a radioactive label is migrated by electrophoresis in an intermediate gel layer 22 when a voltage is impressed in an arrow 6 direction to a supporting medium 2 holding the gel layer 22 in place between substrates 21 and 23. The accumulative phosphor sheet 1 is mounted to the medium 2 and the radiation energy from the radioactive labeling material is accumulated in the sheet 1. The desired part on the sheet 1 is then irradiated by a light source 3 for the excitation light and the accelerated luminous light radiated from the accelerated phosphor is received by the photodetector 4 by which the light is converted to an electric signal. The desired part on the sheet 1 is irradiated by a light source 5 for the erasing light to release the radiation energy remaining on the sheet 1 after the accelerated light emission. The information on the material applied with the radioactive label under the migration is thus measured in real time.
