PURPOSE:To reduce the number of wirings than before and to decrease an area accounting for a VLSI by giving to an extraction device such constitution that is made by iteration of a basic circuit configured with one longitudinal line, one lateral line, one oblique line, and one pass transistor. CONSTITUTION:In a cross bar switch matrix type extraction device 700, a side A input register 500 is arranged on the 2nd side, a side B input register 410 and an output register 520 on the fourth side, and an extraction position indication signal generation circuit 600 on the 1st side. The 1st - fourth sides of the extraction device are denoted by symbols 1-4. The MSB (Most Significant Bit) of side A input data is denoted by a symbol 214, and LSB (Least Significant Bit) by a symbol 200. The MSB and LSB of side B input data are denoted by symbols 215 and 201, respectively. The MSB and LSB of output data are shown by symbols 207 and 201, respectively. Symbols 300-308 show control lines for designating an extraction position, and only one selected by the circuit 600 is assorted.
