PURPOSE:To improve the reliability on measuring accuracy and to prevent an erroneous measurement by applying magnetism to carriers and forming the carriers in such a manner that the magnetic forces vary with the carriers correspondently to measuring items. CONSTITUTION:The antigen-antibody insolubilizing carrier B is constituted of a carrier layer (b) immobilized with an antibody or antigen on the surface and a magnetic material (a) sealed into the carrier layer (b). The upper part thereof forms a magnetic field of an N pole and the lower part of an S pole. Said carrier is so magnetized that the magnetic forces thereof vary respectively with the measuring items. For example, 3 kinds of the carriers Ba, Bb, Bc which vary respectively in the magnetic force are housed by every plural piece into 3 bead housing bodies 1, 2, 3 of a bead supply device. The bodies 1, 2, 3 are formed into an approximately funnel shape and the carriers B are checked by magnetic force detectors 5 disposed to the bottom ends thereof when the carriers are supplied to a selector S. Whether the corresponding carriers B are the carriers corresponding to the measuring item or not is discriminated.
