PURPOSE:To reduce drastically the switching power needed for moving a slider in the axial direction of a cylinder by always placing the slider on the axis of action of a solenoid. CONSTITUTION:A slider 26 accepts a pair of slide valves 24, 25 which abut on valve seats 19, 20 for sealing the inside from the outside, on both sides of itself, to form a tunnel-shaped flow route. This slider 26 is moved in the axial direction of a cylinder 16 by a solenoid 31, for selecting through ports 20b, 20c connected to a lead-out port 19b, so as to switch a refrigerant route. If the high/low differential pressure of a system is given to the tunnel-shaped flow route, as the slider 26 is kept at the center position without accepting said differential pressure, and also can be always placed on the axis of action of the solenoid 31, the switching power needed for moving the slider 26 in the axial direction of the cylinder 16 can be reduced drastically.
